Voice to Impact Summit

Featured Speaker: Sande Roberts

Sande Roberts published "Blake’s Big Day" in the fall of 2021. It was written by Sande and illustrated by Wendy Fedan. "The book is about my differently-abled brother, Glen, and his companion cat, Blake, who woke him from a significant seizure. Blake was named Cat of the Year by the ASPCA and they were both flown to New York for the ceremony."

Sande has launched a new adventure by entering the animal advocacy world through creating enjoyable and enlightening workshops addressing the challenges of knowing how to find the perfect personality match between dogs and their human families. Yes, many of these fun and fascinating exercises work with people too!

Over the years she has had many opportunities to spend time with people and their service dogs, and her all time favorite client setting was a zoo. Sande has recently retired from teaching in the Psychology Department of a community college and also for a charter high school.
